when we got there

It was Friday morning, early as 4 AM. I was still awake from work.. Lanzer came up with an idea of going out to see the sun rise. So we drove up the mountain.. Lanzer, CP, Fay and I. The road was not cold, thank gawd for the summer keeping the night warmer. So anyway, we drove up the road which we know not of where it's leading to. After driving for a while, we decided to stop on this somewhat nice spot on the side of the road the the mountain side. The place was pretty, I could smell the scent of dried grass and soil... It gave me some kind of wonderful feeling of my existance( I dunno, I'm weird that way.) So anyway, we walked a bit t'ward this cliff-like side of the mountain where you look down and see field, and trees, and a lake, and another mountain range straight ahead of you. very pretty sight.

Later, we just realized that the sun wouldn't be up anytime soon cuz we were on the mountain, even if it does rise, the mountain is going to be in the way and we won't be seeing it in a while. We just sat and chatted and do other disturbing things such as throwing rocks at birds, walk around in the middle of the road.. and, oh, we screamed!!! It was BORING.. we had to wait for such a long time, and especially when you havn't slept. What else can you do?

Until the sun rises, it was not quite what I expected, mainly due to my own stupidity forgetting that I'd be looking at the rising sun from the mountain, not the horizon, so it was so bright my eyes hurts. But I looked anyway, that's what we were there for. It was kinda neat to imagine how the earth rotates around itself, or how you can watch the sun slowly moving up into the sky.

The moment the sun rises from the mountain and shines its light onto the mountain was neat. I really think it was amazing... well, anyway, we spent almost 2 hours waiting around and actual few minutes to look at the sun, then we leave.. I'm not a good writer :p so screw me.

Once there were green fields kissed by the sun.
